It offers advanced calcium sulfonate thickener technology and 5% molybdenum disulfide for both inherent rust protection and extreme pressure (EP) properties. Compared to conventional soap-base thickeners, the calcium sulfonate thickener excels in wet environments to provide longer re-lubrication intervals. The inherent EP properties exhibit great stability in the presence of water, allowing a balance between wear protection and resistance to corrosion.
Mobil Centaur™ Moly 2, 816.5KG/1800LB
Mobil Centaur™ Moly 2, product code 126985, offers advanced calcium sulfonate thickener technology like the Mobil Centaur XHP 150 Mine. It imparts excellent corrosion and water-resistance properties to the grease and has inherent extreme-pressure protection properties that enhance load-carrying ability. Further, the EP properties derived from the calcium thickener also have inherently better thermal stability than those from conventional Sulphur/Phosphorus EP additives. This grease is particularly well-suited for heavy-duty truck chassis, construction and mining equipment, and heavily load industrial bearings. It provides:
- Excellent extreme-pressure protection and load-carrying ability for equipment protection under heavy and shock loading
- Fortified with 3% molybdenum disulphide for retention of EP performance and equipment protection in severe sliding situations

Our Mobil Centaur XHP™ 221 premium multipurpose grease, product code 126896, lubricates industrial bearings in wet, high-temperature and heavy load applications. It is formulated to remain stable and perform well under conditions with:
- Water washout and bearing corrosion
- Process water contamination
- Extreme pressure
- High temperatures
Mobil Centaur XHP™ 462, 816.5KG/1800LB
Mobil Centaur XHP 462, product code 126897, meets the demands of steel mill and paper machine equipment. It contains an advanced calcium sulfonate thickener and provides a balanced combination of water washout and water spray-off resistance. Plus, it offers outstanding corrosion protection in severely wet environments. The calcium sulfonate thickeners used are also able to maintain their consistency and EP protection characteristics even with high levels of water contamination.
